Overview:

Retail For The People is seeking a motivated Content Creation Intern to join our team. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in content creation for luxury fashion & retail-focused social marketing channels. The ideal candidate should be creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about the retail industry.

Responsibilities:

Conceptualize, create, and execute two short-form video contents per week, adhering to brand guidelines and content strategy.
Produce high-quality photo content, including product photography, to enhance the brand's visual identity.
Engage in in-person outreach activities, such as visiting shopping properties and districts, to gather content inspiration and foster partnerships.
Test various content creation formats to identify effective strategies for engaging our audience.
Stay updated on emerging trends and topics in the retail industry, aligning them with Retail For The People's brand strategy.
Collaborate with the team to develop content strategies and calendars for social marketing channels.
Analyze and report regularly on the performance of published video content, using insights to optimize future content and enhance audience engagement.

Requirements:

Local to either the greater Miami, greater New York City or greater Los Angeles areas.
Strong passion for luxury fashion, the retail industry and content creation.
Proficiency in video editing software and photo editing tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and visual storytelling.
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and tight deadlines.
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or related field (preferred).

Duration:

Summer Internship Starts June 3, 2024 - August 9, 2024

Fall Internship Starts September 9, 2024 - November 22, 2024

Internships are unpaid and for college credit only.
